| I am so happy that there are so many great reviews for this book and that all think it's Genius. It is such a shame that the idea and concept has been copied from a book proposal sent to Kyle Cathie Publishing a year ago. My poor Italian wife spent a year and a half carefully putting together 4 volumes to guide readers through all 4 seasons, with weekly menus and even shoppinglists. The point was to help families eat balanced quality meals everyday...some 200 recipes in all. Accepted as a great idea but they already had the Italian side covered. I guess having Gino on the front cover means more than introducing new writters with 'Genius ideas'. It's not such a unique concept now it's been ripped off and I guess there's no chance for any Royalties for my Italian housewife in tears?! Thanks. | | Bellisimo!: Rating: 5/5 |
| Fabulous book. So many great recipes for everyday - without being on a diet. The tiramisu is especially superb and you would never know it was a low fat version. Not tried it as a diet plan yet but used lots of recipes on the whole family - all have gone down very well - and reduced my calorie intake! :) | | Easy Italian food: Rating: 4/5 |

Having always enjoyed watching Gino D,Acampo with his excellent recipes the idea of combining italian food and healthy eating really appealed to me.
This recipe book was no disappointment. Very easy to do and absolutely delicious. I am a big pasta fan but it is one of my danger foods this gives no guilt heaven
