Losing my Virginity is another encouraging book by Richard Branson. I found myself forgiving the rather jaded pun in the title because the constant repetition of Richard Branson's story is a welcome reminder of his infectious enthusiasm for business pursuits and his resilient ethos in the face of non-starters, downturns, and vicious competition.
As a reader I enjoyed his humour and indulged my own nostalgia for hippy days. I admired the breadth of his research and the rational of his commitment to the notions of the elders and the living planet.
As a business person I was healed by his attitudes, enthused by his examples and challenged by his standards. I haven't yet succeeded with my current projects, but I'm much further along the way and I treasure the images he offers of the students from his business school in Africa because they help me believe in me.
This is a book to read and to give. Branson's three books: Business stripped bare, Screw it let's do it, and his autobiography were, together, the best help I've known in my business life so
far. They are also books I want to give. They can change lives

| Not much new that hasn't already been in the media. About 3/4 of the way through I was struglling to stay interested. Have loads of respect for Richard Branson, but probally more than I needed to know about him. Never did finish the last few chapters. | | sean h likes: Rating: 4/5 |
| book was good especially on the earlier years, however did tend to fudge over some events as we moved thro' 90's | | Never judge a book by it's cover or title.: Rating: 4/5 |
